Who we are

Robert Darling originally founded 'Robert Darling & Sons' as an agricultural contracting firm, more than 50 years ago.   His son, Eric, later moved the company focus toward general public-works contracting, employing many trades in-house.

Robert Darling & Sons has grown to become one of the most respected Public Works Companies in Scotland and our innovative approach to developing long-term partnerships with our customers means we can develop one-on-one relationships which bring ‘added value’ in addition to excellent service, reliability, competitive pricing and timely completion of projects.

To the present day Robert Darling & Sons have continued to provide a professional range of services in the Lothian Area of Scotland.   We are dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our customers and we aim to achieve this by continuously improving the quality, performance and care of all the services that we offer.

Our organisational structure means we can undertake contracts across a wide range of industry sectors.
